Blowing warm, or fading out in traffic
When the A/C blows warm, it's usually low on refrigerant, and low means it leaked out somewhere. We check the pressures first, then recharge to the spec on your car's under-hood label.
Signs it needs a charge
- Air is cool but not cold, or warm at idle
- The A/C works on the highway and fades in traffic
- The compressor clicks on and off quickly

- Visual leak check at the fittings and condenser
- Recharge to the spec on your car's label
- Vent temperature check before we leave
If the system is empty or leaks down fast, a recharge won't last, and we'll tell you before you pay for one. If it needs a compressor or other major parts, we'll point you to a shop.

How long will a recharge last?
Without a real leak, a long time. If it's warm again in a few weeks, there's a leak to find first.
